Sonic CD on Steam on the best. Doesn’t have the awkward loading time from all other versions and just runs so smoothly. Also, includes both English and Japanese soundtrack (sadly though, the Japanese theme lyrics were removed for some reason.) Besides that one little thing, this is the best version I’ve ever played of Sonic CD (having played a PC version in 2000 and the Sonic Gem Collection one.)
This to me is still the best 2D Sonic game. The design of the stages and jazzy music is something I still love.
